Google recently rolled out their brand new ad platform called Google Ads? But is this anything more than just a clever rebranding? Or do these changes actually have any substance?
According to Google, they are retiring the Adwords and its Double-Click platforms because engaging consumers on the internet is becoming more complex. The new Google Ads isn’t removing any of the features you know and love. Google simply want to increase the overall usability by offering more tools and automation features. They also plan to streamline the interface by combining Double-Click and the Google 360 Analytics Suite. They are dubbing this new platform The Google Marketing Platform. Google Ad manager will now link with Ad Exchange and Doube-Click for Publishers to make publishing and tracking your ads more intuitive.
These are some of the main changes taking place on the new Google Ads Platform. However, there is one more major feature worth discussing and that is the implementation of Google’s new Smart Campaign feature. John will be back to discuss this feature in more detail.
